Melee Gala XI will once again present thrilling international competition between the Canadian and United States National Boxing Teams, highlighting the very best in Olympic-style boxing. This year’s Gala carries added significance as we celebrate a landmark anniversary for United Boxing Club. For twenty years, the Club has cultivated elite amateur boxers, delivered inclusive, high-quality fitness programming to individuals of all backgrounds, and contributed meaningfully to charitable initiatives within our community. The Club’s 20th anniversary provides a distinguished stage to spotlight our next generation of emerging athletes on the national circuit.

Founded in 2013 by United Boxing Club, the Melee Gala was established to elevate the profile of Olympic-style boxing while generating significant support for important local charities. To date, the Gala has raised more than $200,000 in support of charitable causes. Proceeds from this year’s event will directly advance the competitive excellence and ongoing development of the Club’s athletes.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of elite sport, refined hospitality, and extraordinary entertainment. Adding to the prestige of the occasion, Brad Katona — United Boxing Club alumnus, former member of the Canadian National Boxing Team, and two-time champion of The Ultimate Fighter — will serve as colour commentator for this spectacular Olympic-style showcase.
